I enjoy the thought that my county taxes pay for the school a few blocks away from my house, yet if I walk by that school I can be arrested.
I think since hospitals contain children then sex offenders should go to prison for being near a hospital. Right? Or McDonald’s, the mall, grocery stores, or music venues…
I also pay the state to maintain the beaches and state parks here, but it’s also a crime for me to go enjoy them. That’s right, I can be jailed for walking on the beach.
But never fear, there’s a remedy to this tyranny. I’ll just grab my passport and go elsewhere since I’m not welcome by the government I served for 17 years. Oh wait… Damn.
Wow… I think this clearly shows that if you’re an RC and you need help, your choices are get help and be arrested, or possibly die. The man clearly needed help by the fact that he directly spoke to staff members, was taken to the hospital by an ambulance, and had zero contact with the students. These lawmakers deserve nothing but the best and hardiest crustaceans down under.
Can wait to read the comments on that page. So unconstitutional. So sad.
The exclusion zones are unconstitutional. Not sure why he was there, but it’s morally wrong to send someone in a medical emergency elsewhere if they can help. The 100000 bond is ridiculous since what he did is not a crime. At best it was non compliant to his civil commitment.
It’s going to take people actually dying under such circumstances, I’m afraid before this even becomes controversial.
The Government says isis is a threat, I say the government is a bigger threat.
